The Governor and Executive Council, at their meeting held on May 11, 2011, approved a Precept for a Special Election
to be held for State Representative in Hillsborough County District 3.
FILING PERIOD: May 16-20, 2011 (Candidates may file with their town clerks on May 16 or May 17,
if the clerk has normal business hours on those days or with the Secretary of State on any day. Candidates filing
on the last day (Friday the 20th) must do so in person at the Secretary of State's Office)
PRIMARY ELECTION: July 19, 2011 (There will NOT be a primary election since only one candidate
from each political party filed)
SPECIAL ELECTION: September 20, 2011
