Ballot Column Order

    The party column order for the general election ballot was chosen by lot in public on Friday, September 19, 2008 in the Secretary of State's Office by the chairman of the republican state committee, the chairman of the democratic state committee and a representative of the candidates who obtained ballot access by filing nomination papers (others).  Party columns on the ballots will be rotated by senate districts.
