  • The Secretary of State, Attorney General, and Commissioner of the Dept. of Safety have jointly issued this guidance which affirms the written guidance and training previously provided to all election officials regarding the effect of HB 1264. 

NOTICE:  The last day for voters who are registered to change their party affiliation before the 2020 Presidential Primary was October 25th.

Gardner Announces Presidential Primary Date 

Secretary of State Bill Gardner officially set the date of the 2020 First-in-the Nation New Hampshire Presidential Primary of its centennial year as February 11, 2020.  At a press conference held on Monday, November 25th, he was joined by former house and senate member Jim Splaine of Portsmouth and by family members of the five other individuals who were most responsible for making it possible to celebrate this one hundredth anniversary.
